Choosing the right monitor
I found a great article with great descriptions of the most current monitors in 2015 - CLICK HERE
- I use the Spyder 3 Pro by datacolor. I see there is a Spyder 4 Elite out now but it's significantly less in price than the Spyder 3 Pro, which raises a brow. I'll need to research this further. To check out the Spyder 3 Pro on Amazon, CLICK HERE
- Keep in mind that your calibrator is quite useless unless you have a monitor that is up to par. This is the best way to get proper color correction and to ensure your prints match what you are viewing on screen!
- I use the Wacom 4. It's been reliable for years, even with a crack in my glass. It's one of my most important pieces of gear. I don't even know how photographers live without them. I highly recommend buying it and using it! To see the Wacom 5 Large on Amazon, CLICK HERE
- NIBS - my friend recently told me about the extra NIBS that come with your Wacom. This is important information... for years, I didn't even know I had them sitting under my stylus. Good thing too because mine rescently wore out. I like the rubber tipped NIB the best. Check out this YouTube video for more info: CLICK HERE
